Swimming Pool activity with Elephants      

Ele Jungle is one such place where a dedicated swimming pool exclusively crafted for the elephants of the farm is quite an attraction. The fun of watching the happiness of elephants while playing with their mates in the pool is a super relief from scorching heat as well as a pleasure activity as it gives an opportunity to the guest to participate in this activity with them. The pool is carefully designed in a fashion where the feeling of enjoying a natural bath by elephants amongst the green surroundings gives them pleasure and relief from the heat stroke that becomes unbearable during peak summers. The best part about this particular facility is that elephants are free to enter the pool whenever they want. This particular adaptation clearly indicates that the elephants of Ele Jungle are not forced to entertain the guests of the farm. Best time to enjoy pool activity at Ele Jungle

The summers in Rajasthan are usually in early June or late April. Since elephants, being the heaviest creature on earth, tend to feel the heat usually more as compared to other animals, the pool facility at the farm mostly begins with the advent of summer. Though regular washing and pool activity is not a part of their routine, if any of them tends to enjoy the water splash, we always respect their wish. 

But in general, to visiting the Ele Jungle any time of the year is best. Because the winter has its own fun of basking in sunlight along with the elephants equally loves to do the same. Similarly, in monsoon, they love bathing in rain showers after a long waiting period of scorching heat. 

What to Expect during the Stay at the Farm

Things to do when one arrives at the farm extend beyond one’s expectation. Apart from the regular activities like bathing, feeding, and walking, offbeat activities are curated, considering the various age groups and interests that guests expect to meet up.

As soon as the guests arrive, they will be welcomed with refreshments and drinks. And then begins the formal session of getting to know the elephant assigned to them along with the accompanying Mahouts. During this session, guests will be given a basic understating of the body language, hand actions, and words that elephants understand.

The guiding escort will then proceed along with the elephant toward the pool area where guests can enjoy bathing activity with their elephant. This activity lasts for an hour or depending upon the mood of the elephant.

After winding up this activity guests are free to stroll through the farm catching up with other friends of elephants like turkey birds, pigeons, and watchdog.
